עִידּוֹן, עִדּ׳m. (v. עִידָּן) period; pl. עִידּוֹנִים, עִידּוֹנִין, עִדּ׳ menses. Gen. R. s. 48 (ed. Wil.) האשה הזאת כל זמן שהיא ילדה יש לה ווסתות ואני … עדנה ע׳ as long as she is young, a woman has her periods, and I, ‘after I am grown old (Gen. 18:12) should have ʿednah, that is menses?; (Yalk. ib. 82 ד״א עדנה עַדָּנִין ווסתנית, v. וֶוסְתָּנִית).
